Beric is a newly formed British company. It's mission is to enter the luxury watches market and deliver their own high-quality watches.
The approach for Beric was to keep things as minimal and simple as possible, but it the same time to follow the design strategy for the website, which was to inspire
mistery and luxury.
Goals for this project: 1. Create a good user experience.
2. Create a good design based on company's brand guidelines.
3. Have smooth interactions between the main pages and product presentations.
Designing the website
The website was build to lead the users through a journey, a journey of mystery and luxury. The images of the products on the website are the key elements that draws the users attention, thus a beautiful selection of images was chosen to match the design and branding of the company. The minimalistic design approach, allows an easy navigation throughout the website without overwelming the user, but in the same time offering a good presentation of the products and the company.
From a UX perspective, the purchasing process was inteded to be quite straight forward. After the user adds to cart the desired products, he is guided step by step on multiple pages to fill the required personal information to complete the purchasing process. By using a stepper, the user knows at any time how much of the process he has completed.
The user account section allows the user to change his personal details as well as view their orders or report a problem with them.
Other relevant information such as frequently asked questions, product care or privacy have been placed in this section to offer a more accessible path for the user.
